Welcome to Premier Imaging, serving patients throughout the Greater Ottawa area. We are here to answer your questions and ensure your experience at our clinic is stress-free and seamless.
From the moment you walk through the door, to any follow up contact that may be required, the Premier Imaging team is at your service.
When you arrive, please check in with our reception team, who will help you get settled and complete any paperwork that may be required.
We understand that you may be feeling nervous or uneasy about your appointment. We'll take all the time you need and answer all of your questions to make sure you're completely comfortable during the process.
To begin, your technologist will review your medical history and any records sent by your referring doctor. We will then discuss the procedure, address any questions or concerns you may have, and ensure you understand what will happen during your ultrasound exam or diagnostic imaging test.
We also understand that waiting for and receiving test results may cause some anxiety and mixed emotions. This is natural and normal. We're here to help answer questions and alleviate any confusion you may be experiencing.
Your technologist can advise you about when you can expect results based on the type of test you came in for. The radiologist may explain the results to you if they are available that day, or send them to your referring doctor.
Your doctor will then contact you to schedule follow-up if required. At Premier Imaging, we want to make this period stress-free and as informative as possible.
We are always available to discuss your results with you and your healthcare team, along with any further options for diagnostic imaging tests that may be helpful.
